WiFi routers & mesh in India — whole-home WiFi, no more dead zones.

Your broadband is only as fast as the router spreading it. A better single router, or a mesh system that blankets every floor, fixes weak signal in the bedroom and buffering upstairs. Compare the Best WiFi Router for Home and mesh systems from TP-Link, Netgear, ASUS, D-Link, Tenda, Xiaomi and Linksys in one place.

Why use us

The benefits of choosing routers & mesh with Telecoms Supermarket India

The right hardware depends on your home's size and layout, your plan speed and how many devices you run — and the priciest router isn't always the answer. Here's how our platform helps you pick well, at no cost to you.

FREE

Free & impartial

Our service is free to you, and we compare every major brand — so our advice stays honest and vendor-neutral, not pushed to one label.

Router vs mesh

We help you decide whether one strong router is enough or your home's size and walls genuinely call for a mesh system.

The right WiFi standard

WiFi 5, 6 or 6E — we match the standard to your device count and budget, so you don't overpay for speed you can't use.

Match to your plan

There's no point buying a gigabit router for a 100 Mbps plan — we size the hardware to the connection you actually have.

Placement advice

Coverage is as much about node count and placement as the box itself — we guide you so you get the reach you paid for.

Support & privacy

We stay with you from comparison to setup — and your details are never sold, shared only with partners you approve.

Why This Matters

Paying for 300 Mbps but getting 40 in the bedroom? That's your router, not your plan.

People upgrade their broadband and still get buffering upstairs — because the connection is fine, but the router can't push it through walls and across floors. The little box your ISP throws in is built to a price, with a weak antenna and an old WiFi standard. A better single router fixes a small flat; but a large or multi-floor home almost always needs a mesh system — two or three nodes that hand your devices between them as you move, so there's no dead zone and no dropped video call. Newer standards (WiFi 6, 6E) matter too when a dozen phones, TVs and smart devices all fight for the network. The trick is matching the hardware to your home's size, your device count and your actual plan speed — not just buying the most expensive box. We lay all of that out so you spend on coverage that you'll really feel.

  • Mesh for large or multi-floor homes, no dead zones
  • WiFi 6 / 6E for device-heavy households

Common Questions

Routers & mesh, explained simply

Quick answers to common questions about plans, providers, and services for businesses and individuals.

It comes down to size and layout. A single strong router covers most flats and small homes well. But if you have a large home, multiple floors, thick or long walls, or a spread-out layout, one router struggles to reach the far corners — that's where a mesh system shines. Mesh uses two or three nodes that work as a single network, handing your phone or laptop from one node to the next as you move, so there are no dead zones and no manual switching. As a rule of thumb: persistent dead spots in more than one area usually mean mesh; a single weak corner can often be fixed with one extender. A Mesh WiFi System for Multi-Story House is the best option when you need uninterrupted WiFi across multiple floors.

The big benefit of WiFi 6 (and 6E) isn't just top speed — it's handling many devices at once with less congestion and lag, which is exactly what a modern home with phones, TVs, laptops and smart devices needs. WiFi 6E adds a clean 6 GHz band for even less interference, useful in crowded apartment blocks. If you only have a handful of devices and a modest plan, a good WiFi 5 router is still fine and cheaper. If your home is device-heavy or you're buying for the next few years, WiFi 6 is the sensible default.

Yes — and it works both ways. A router can't deliver more speed than your broadband supplies, so a gigabit router does nothing extra on a 100 Mbps plan. But a very old or cheap router can also bottleneck a fast plan, so you don't get what you're paying for. The aim is to match the hardware to your actual plan speed and device count — enough headroom to use your full connection, without overspending on capacity you can't feed. We size it to the plan you're on (and can advise if you're comparing our fibre or wireless plans too).

In most cases yes. Many ISP-supplied boxes are basic, and swapping in your own router or mesh — or adding it behind the ISP unit in "bridge" or access-point mode — gives far better coverage and control. A few fibre setups tie certain features to the ISP device, so occasionally it's run alongside rather than fully replaced. We flag any provider-specific quirks so you know what will work before you buy, whichever connection you're on.

Most homes are well served by two nodes; three suit large or three-storey homes. Placement matters as much as the kit: put the main node central and near your broadband entry, and space additional nodes so each sits roughly midway between the main node and the dead zone — not right in the far corner where the signal is already weak. Avoid tucking nodes inside cabinets or behind TVs. Device names, specs and prices shown here are illustrative and change often; this is general guidance, and we help with node count and placement for your specific home.
